Freeport won the South Shore Championship for the 1928 season. The game against Baldwin was held on Election Day before a crowed of 4,000.

The team practiced at Randall Field.

Seven players made the All-Nassau Team: Harmer, Hansen, Friedman, Franklin, Cruickshank, Tomaselli, and Kenny.

The coaches were Bringman and Confer.
