An article in the Brooklyn Times Union mentions a "second eleven of the Freeport High School football players." This may have referred to a non-varsity squad.

There was a junior football team at the high school (sometimes referred to as the "second eleven"). In October 1904, they beat Oceanside 33 to 0.
