Charlotte Lander was the stage name of Lottie Abeles, wife of actor Edward S. Abeles. Lander performed with her husband in the stage production of My Wife's Husbands (1903).
In 1936, a 70 year old Abeles/Lander was living at 70 West 110th Street and was receiving a $10 week pension from the Actors' Fund. She described herself as a "cripple."
