Freeport Housing Authority

The Freeport Housing Authority is currently located at 100 North  Main Street, Freeport, NY 11520.  Residents looking for housing can visit this office. There are two public housing complexes under their jurisdiction:

Mitchell Mallette Senior Housing
100 North Main Street

Consists of 100 units for senior citizens and persons with disabilities


 Reverend John J. Madden Senior Citizens Apartments
240, 250, and 260 South Main Street

-Consists of 150 units for senior citizens and persons with disabilities

Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has information regarding fair housing practices, state housing resources, public housing voucher, rental assistance, mortgage assistance, and much more.
