Mission Statement
The mission of the organization is to provide youth, family and substance abuse services, including treatment services to individuals with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders in order to enhance the quality of life in our community.
Who We Are
H.E.L.P. Services, Inc. (Healing, Empowerment, Learning, and Prevention Services Incorporated) is a New York State Licensed organization that provides a myriad of human services offered in both English and Spanish.
Our growing list of services include effective: drug treatment counseling, drug prevention counseling, youth counseling, homework help/tutoring services, creative arts therapy, dance workshops, electronic music production workshops, video production workshops, various trips/activities and summer programming.
Recently the services have evolved to include the use of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) interventions in the substance abuse and youth counseling programs. EBP interventions have scientific research to support their effectiveness.
History
H.E.L.P. Services, Inc. was formerly named Freeport Pride, Inc. The organization has been providing substance use treatment and youth programs since 1970.
