While little can be confirmed about The Daisy -- as located at 124 Broadway in Amityville, New York -- it was confirmed to be the site of multiple early performances by future Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band KISS. The band's June 16, 1973 performance at The Daisy can be heard here. Video filmed of the interior of the later-rebuilt spot can be seen here. Reportedly, the original site of The Daisy is now a parking lot for doctor's offices located at 120 Broadway, and the building housing The Daisy was torn down in the early 2000s.

Richard M. Dixon (James La Roe) on Saturday Night Live:
As located at 1600 Hicksville Road in North Massapequa, New York, Richard M. Dixon's White House Inn was a comedy club started by James La Roe of Seaford, a lookalike of President Richard M. Nixon. Dixon/Roe made cameo appearances on Laugh-In, The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson and the talk shows of Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin, beyond landing roles in numerous motion pictures and television commercials. Reportedly, all that fizzled after Watergate. La Roe opened Dixon's White House Inn -- which he appeared to have opened in 1977 and closed in 1985.
Among the notable performers who took the stage of this venue were Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Rosie O'Donnell and Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld's father was reportedly the club's signmaker. Here is video of La Roe performing as Richard M. Dixon.

Located at 2002 Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park, New York, the space hosting The Dublin Pub first opened as a bar in 1936. The 6,441-square-foot spot bore the name "The Dublin Pub" since 1968. Stan Majewski (the bar’s manager and head bouncer) and Scott Blitzer (promoter/ bartender) purchased the business in 2001 from one of its original owners, musician Tim Moloney of the Boston Burglars, in July 2001. The spot had its liquor license revoked in March 2013 and ultimately demolished in early 2024.
Among the notable performers who had played live at The Dublin Pub were Joe Lynn Turner, Blue Oyster Cult (featuring Long Island natives Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma), They Might Be Giants (whose current lineup includes Long Island resident Danny Weinkauf on bass), and The Get Up Kids.
