Although the story of The Sopranos is firmly rooted in New Jersey locales and the New York City metro area, Long Island was part of the show's production on multiple occasions.
One of the most notable Long Island appearances is at Trainland, a model-train store in Lynbrook ***SPOILER ALERT*** where the dramatic “killing-in-store” sequence involving Bobby Baccalieri was filmed. Beyond that, Long Island’s South Shore scenery also appeared with sequences shot around an Atlantic Beach, New York beach club.
In a nice tie-in to the award-winning show's Long Island connections, there will be an upcoming event at Bellmore Movies & The Showplace, as organized by Merrick resident Andrew Jedlicka featuring four actors from The Sopranos. More information about that November 2025 event can be found here.
