The Starz crime drama Hightown, though set in the rugged landscapes of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, filmed some of its first season on Long Island -- specifically in Freeport, NY. This includes scene aired within the show's pilot episode.
Scenes were reportedly shot at Bagel Dock on Guy Lombardo Avenue and homes on Church Street, Garfield Street, and Johnson Place were used to replicate the look and feel of Provincetown and its surrounding coastal town ambiance. Filming also took place at Freeport's Recreation Center and Auto Parts & Wrecking on Buffalo Avenue between April 2019 and July 2019, offering the production a versatile suburban-turned–seaside setting.
