The Freeport Memorial Library has library scrapbooks documenting library history from about 1916 to 2004. These scrapbooks included local newspaper clippings about the library, its programs, and services. They were created and maintained by library staff.

The Freeport Memorial Library has three binders of Library Association Correspondences from the early 1920s. These records are related to the raising of money for the building of the library building.
