Michael D. Intriligator is a professor emeritus of economics, political science and public policy at UCLA. A 1955 graduate of Freeport High School, his M.A. is from Yale University where he was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. in economics in 1963 from MIT. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a Senior Fellow at the Milken Institute, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Science and a Senior Fellow at the Gorbachev Foundation of North America. His publications include the following areas of research: economic theory, mathematical economics, econometrics, Russian economy and strategy and arms control. He has authored and/or edited over 200 general and professional articles and texts.
